As an uninvited guest, I respectfully acknowledge that I am living in S’ólh Téméxw, which is unceded, stolen, and occupied territory of the Stó:lō Coast Salish people more specifically the Ts’elxwéyeqw and Pil’alt Tribes in what is colonially known as Chilliwack. I am a wife, mother, daughter, and sister in an amazing and beautiful family. I am an artist, passionate photographer, and student of art and life. Art and photography have been a creative, progressive and beautiful journey for me. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Over my years of studying I have embraced and discovered what photography means to me: to be able to capture beauty in its most real and raw magnificence and to be able to tell a story of life and love. As a mother, I also see firsthand the importance of capturing special moments and milestones that pass by in the blink of an eye.
